Waist garment made of from strips of voivoi (pandanus). The waistband consists of a mat area woven out in a fine check weave with two ties at each end of the waistband consisting of braided strips of voivoi, tali tolu (3-ply), with one of the ties made from vau (hibiscus fibres). Strips of vau (hibiscus fibres), mid beige/brown in colour, are interwoven across the bottom of the waistband. The body of the Tofua consists of ruffled strips of voivoi, consisting of both finely stripped and short wide strips of voivoi. Light brown/beige in overall colour. Tofua
