http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/description Tupe. A game disc made and used in Lafo, the traditional Tongan throwing game. This tupe is cut from the side of a thick coconut shell into a concave circular disc shape. The outer side and edges are highly polished and smooth, while the inner side has a smooth and matte surface treatment. There are circular impressions drilled along the circumference and through the middle of the tupe.
