Short vertical foot below a bulbous ovoid body. Wide, elongated neck with a slight flare ends in a plain rim. Decorated with narrow brown and red horozontal bands at base, rim and neck. Fluted, "scale" pattern around the belly of the vessel. Each brown scale has a red dot in the centre. Baluchistan, western Pakistan, dating from before the Indus Valley civilisation circa 4th – 3rd millennia BCE. pot
