Clarence Arthur Umbers, RAF, WW1 Clarence Arthur Umbers initially enlisted with the New Zealand Army Service Corps and left New Zealand with the Main Body. Following his Gallipoli service he served for some time with the Camel Corps but later joined the Royal Flying Corps. He later served with the Strait Airways and the RNZAF. During WW2 he served on the Home Front.
