In September 1915 he transferred to the Royal Field Artillery and the following year was wounded on the Somme. Park then transferred to the Royal Flying Corps and became the highest scoring 'ace' to serve with 48 Squadron receiving the Military Cross and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Keith Park remained with the RAF and during WW2 rose to the position of Allied Air Commander-in-Chief, South East Asia Officer's boots, Royal Flying Corps, WW1 Belonged to Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith R Park boots
