He remained in service until May 1919 and received the British War Medal and Victory medal. During WW2 he enlisted with the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve and received the Pacific Campaign Star, War Medal 1939-45 and the New Zealand Service Medal. naval jacket, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, Lt.
