The design on the obverse side was the organisation's badge (see advertisements on 4 August 1915 in Auckland Star (page 12) and the New Zealand Herald (page 14). Part of a collection that belonged to Owen Lloyd Baxter who was the New Zealand representative for Brown & Poulson Ltd. His father, Fred Baxter, was a journalist with the Auckland Star, and his mother, Elizabeth, was the first woman in Auckland to register as a voter in 1893.
