Horton definitely received a bar for Azoff, and possibly also the Sebastopol bar. bars: Sebastopol: 11th Sept 1854 - 9th Sept 1855 Azoff: 25th May - 22nd September 1855 The Diary of WL Clowes recording events during the 1854-56 Russian (Crimean) War noted "A lull in the weather enabled me to put to sea on July 13th for a sweep round the Sea of Azof, the Ardent, Weser and Clinker being left under the orders of Lieutenant Horton (Lieut. Wm Horton, promoted as Commander on 18.8.1855] to harass Genitchi and Arabat."
