Long handled ladle. A domestic implement made with a half cut te nana (coconut shell), dark brown in colour for the bowl which is lashed with light brown te kora (coconut sennit) to a long wooden handle. The handle has a smooth, matte surface treatment. It is slightly curved in profile and is cylindrical towards the bowl but oval in cross section towards the grip.
