http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/description Reverend Robert George McDowall's wartime diaries transcribed and edited by his daughter Mary Tagg from the originals held by the Auckland Museum Library [Ref. MS-874]. The diaries give a very full account of his experiences as a Prisoner of War from November, 1941, to February, 1945, principally at Stalag IVB in Muhlberg-on-Elbe. This POW camp, according to official German figures, housed over 21,000 prisoners made up of almost all the allied nations. (3 volumes)
