They had a daughter Mabel who died aged 5 months on Jun 29th 1886 and after this photograph in 1895 they had a son Walter James who died at 8 weeks old on July 8th 1895.

There is no backdrop but William Sn. is leaning on a small table. The photograph was most likely taken in the Waikato, Cambridge, as that is where their deceased children are buried. Mount board is black with a gold border.
